Job summary

A global professional services company is looking for an experienced Site Mechanical Engineer to join its Abu Dhabi team on a 13-month fixed-term infrastructure project. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, a minimum of 10 years of experience, and proficiency in infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include overseeing construction activities and ensuring compliance with applicable codes. Strong communication skills and regional experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Min of 10 years postgraduate experience with at least 7 years on large projects.
• Regional experience in the UAE preferred.
• Authority registration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of an integrated multidisciplinary team across various projects.
• Assist the Resident Engineer in operational functions and oversee contractor submittals.
• Perform routine inspections and confirm compliance on construction sites.
• Document nonconformance and participate in resolution discussions.
