Job description

Responsibilities

• Review of architectural and firefighting plans in accordance with applicable fire & life safety codes (i.e. NFPA Saudi Building code UAE Fire code)
• Preparation of fire & life safety strategy reports and provision of proactive advice to clients regarding design compliance
• Maintaining a high level of professional responsibility in undertaking the required review services
• Ensuring a high level of communication both verbal and in writing
• Management of individual projects to ensure each of the necessary deliverable required by clients are met
• Ensuring a thorough understanding of NFPA 101 NFPA 5000 UAE Fire code Saudi Building & Fire code and each of the relevant design standards such as NFPAetc
• Use of all necessary architectural and design software (CAD Bluebeam)
• Experienced in CFD modelling and smoke management is preferable
