Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate Financial Researcher with a deep interest in both traditional financial markets and the digital asset space. You will conduct in-depth analysis of global macroeconomic events, monetary policies, and traditional financial market dynamics, and investigate their profound impact on the cryptocurrency market. At the same time, you will closely monitor development trends, competitive landscapes, and innovation in both centralized and decentralised exchanges, while possessing a deep understanding of the underlying blockchain technology evolution and its influence on market structure. Through rigorous reseach, you will produce torward- looking investment strategy recommendations, risk alerts, and industry insights to provide critical support tor the company's strategic decision-making, product optimisation, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Macro & Cross-Market Analysis:

• Monitor and analyze macroeconomic indicators, central bank policies, fiscal policies, and geopolitical events across major global economies.
• Research the correlation and capital flow effects between traditional financial markets (equities, bonds, FX, commodities) and the cryptocurrency market.
• Assess the transmission mechanisms of macroeconomic cycles on cryptocurrency market liquidity, risk appetite, and asset pricing.

2. Cryptocurrency Market & Blockchain Specialized Research:

• Investigate the direct and indirect impacts of macroeconomic events and traditional market volatility on various cryptocurrencies.
• Develop a profound understanding of the technical principles, consensus mechanisms, scaling solutions, and development roadmaps of major and emerging blockchains, analyzing the long-term impact of technological evolution on markets, assets, and exchange ecosystems.
• Conduct in-depth research on mainstream and emerging cryptocurrency projects and financial product innovations (DeFi protocols, Staking, AMM, etc.).
• Utilize on-chain data to track the real-time behavioral patterns of different market participants (institutions, whales, retail) to identify shifts in market sentiment and capital movements.

3. Exchange Ecosystem Research:

• Monitor developments of major global centralized (CEX) and decentralized (DEX) exchanges, including but not limited to business models, product innovations, market share, regulatory compliance progress, security incidents, and liquidity changes.
• Analyze the impact of exchange dynamics on market structure, asset pricing, and user behavior, understanding the advantages, disadvantages, and risks associated with different underlying technologies and architectural choices (e.g., custody solutions, order book design, on-chain settlement).

4. Insight Delivery & Strategic Recommendations:

• Regularly produce high-quality research reports, including but not limited to macro thematic reports, market cycle analysis, blockchain technology impact assessments, exchange competitiveness analysis,
• Based on research findings, provide clear, actionable recommendations for the company's strategic direction, trading strategies, product design, and risk control.
• Effectively communicate research findings and insights to management, investment teams, and business units.

Qualifications

1. Required

• Master's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in macroeconomic, financial market, or asset allocation research at a financial institution (securities firm, fund, investment bank, research institute), or equivalent research experience in the cryptocurrency/blockchain industry.
• Deep understanding and strong interest in the cryptocurrency market, with at least 1 year of active research or tracking experience.
• Possess a deep understanding of blockchain technology, familiar with the technical architectures of mainstream public chains, core concepts such as smart contracts, cross-chain solutions, Layer 2, and able to integrate technological developments with financial market impact analysis.
• Strong data analysis skills, proficient in Excel, and capable of using Python, R, or similar tools for data processing, statistical modelling, and visualization.
• Excellent information gathering, logical thinking, and independent thinking abilities, with a proven ability to write well-structured, rigorously argued research reports in both Chinese and English.
• Outstanding verbal communication and presentation skills, able to translate complex research findings into understandable insights.

2. Preferred

• Combined experience in both traditional finance and the cryptocurrency industry (e.g., crypto fund, exchange, research firm).
• Hands-on experience with on-chain data analysis and familiarity with tools such as Nansen, Glassnode, or Dune Analytics.
• In-depth understanding of crypto sub-sectors such as DeFi, derivatives, and staking, and able to analyze them from both technical implementation and financial modelling perspectives.
• Professional certifications such as CFA or FRM, or possess blockchain-related technical certificates/project development experience.
