  • Fresh knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, statutory compliance, and tax regulations across GCC and internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily cash activities and forecasting.

About the role

As Financial Controller you will be a pivotal force in steering our financial controlling and financial operations to new heights. Responsible for overseeing accounting and finance functions, you will bring a wealth of experience to enhance our financial and management reporting, cash management, performance, audit, compliance, and strategic decision‑making support.

Responsibilities
Financial Reporting and Analysis
  • Spearhead the preparation of comprehensive daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and management reports.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, presenting insights to drive informed decision‑making.
  • Generate detailed financial reports, emphasizing key variances.
Statutory Compliance
  • Oversee the accurate and timely filing of statutory returns, staying abreast of evolving regulatory landscapes.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during audits and assessments.
    Maintain an up‑to‑date understanding of tax regulations across GCC and international jurisdictions.
Cash Management
  • Lead daily cash management activities, and forecast ensuring operational liquidity.
  • Lead daily bank reconciliations, and formulate and execute cash forecasting strategies.
  • Resolve discrepancies and optimize banking relationships.
Accounts Receivable and Payable Management
  • Drive efficient accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy in customer transactions.
  • Streamline accounts payable workflows, ensuring precise coding and approval processes.
  • Implement effective reconciliation mechanisms for both accounts and lead collections.
General Ledger Oversight
  • Lead the recording of financial transactions in the general ledger.
  • Lead the reconciliation of balance sheet and income statement accounts.
  • Play a vital role in month‑end and year‑end closing activities and prepare reports.
Strategic Financial Management
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize performance and achieve organizational goals.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to the executive team and key stakeholders.
Miscellaneous
  • Any other responsibilities assigned by the CFO and the CEO.
Requirements
  • Chartered or Certified Accountant. CPA, CMA, CA, ACCA, CIMA
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Proven experience in a similar role, e.g. Accounting Manager, Financial Controller
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Xero and Zoho Books), Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel
  • Fresh knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, statutory compliance and tax regulations across GCC and internationally

Location & Commitments
  • Full‑time, contracted
