ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drafting and implementing group accounting policy

• Initiating and implementing internal control processes

• Ensure the efficient operation of financial and accounting functions & processes to maintain proper functionality.

• Guarantee the timely and accurate preparation of entity and consolidated financial reports, adhering to reporting standards.

• Supervise cash flow planning to ensure the availability of funds for operational needs.

• Develop and compile financial budgets and forecasts.

• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory bodies, accounting standards, and tax regulations

• Provide support in preparing materials for board and management meetings.

• Coordinate with external auditors, and legal council to meet statutory requirements and ensure compliance

• Manage monthly financial close process, including ensuring all costs incurred areproperly recorded

• Manage claims process for reimbursement

• Tracking MOM regulation and update management

• Maintain proper financial controls and documentation for the audit trail

SKILLS

• Bachelor's degree in accounting / ACCA / CPA or equivalent

• Audit experience (preferably internal and external audit) and strong accounting background

• At least 7-8 years of experience in Audit and/or Finance functions

• Self-starter with aptitude for building a finance function

• Digital asset knowledge and experience is a plus, but with a keen learning mindset, is not required

• Able to execute matters with minimal supervision and guidance

• Possess strong interpersonal, communication skills and presentation skills

• Ability to work in a high-stress environment, while giving support to the team and providing direction and guidance.

• Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills.

• Detail-oriented, fast learner and committed to meeting timelines.

• Good spoken & written English.

Persistence Labs is a team of 25+ highly motivated and skilled individuals working towards a common goal. The team has a total of 4 functions across each product team - Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Business Development. In addition, Persistence Labs has a corporate team responsible for Legal, Compliance, Operations and Finance.

We are a fully global team with people coming together from all parts of the world - Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
