Job description

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager & Chief Engineers in preparing policies and regulations relating to the issuance of NOCs for the infrastructure works and services. # Participate in the workshops conducted for issues of NOCs.
• Study, review and issue the NOCs for infrastructure works and service projects within the agency as per agreed distribution of work and in coordination with the line manager.
• Participate in updating the five-year plans for roads projects in line with the five-year plans of the Service Authorities in the Emirate of Dubai. This is done in coordination with the line manager.
• Manage and coordinate the distribution of services in an effective way according to the standards, best practices and programs adopted for the organizational units and concerned parties in coordination with the line manager.
• Study and take the necessary actions for the complaints received from RTA organizational units and/or from other stakeholders and discuss the major complaints and concluded recommendations with the line manager.
• Participate in solving the problems pertaining to the distribution of services/utilities in coordination with the line manager.
• Implement RTA policies, legislation, regulations, directives and procedures related to the issuance of NOCs for infrastructure works and service projects.
• Follow up the implementation of the daily works of the Section regarding the issuance of NOCs for the infrastructure works and services projects submitted/ undertaken by various agencies in coordination with the line manager.
• Support the communication and coordination between the Consultants, Contractors, RTA organizational units and other concerned service authorities/providers to facilitate the obtaining of NOCs required for RTA projects in accordance with the procedures and adopted regulations.
