Apt Resources is looking for a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our esteemed client's team at the Royal Palace in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the electrical systems within the palace facilities. This role requires an innovative thinker with a strong technical background, who can ensure the seamless operation of electrical infrastructures in a prestigious environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations, inspection, and maintenance of all electrical systems, including:
- LV/MV distribution panels and switchgear
- Indoor/outdoor lighting systems
- Backup generators and UPS systems
- Fire alarm and emergency lighting systems
- Smart home automation and AV systems
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and palace-specific requirements.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues quickly to minimize downtime.
- Plan and carry out preventive maintenance using CAFM or manual records.
- Supervise and coordinate work with external contractors and service providers.
- Keep updated records, as-built drawings, testing logs, and service reports.
- Work closely with mechanical and civil teams for integrated facility management.
- Provide technical input for system upgrades, refurbishments, or new installations.
- Respond to emergency calls and provide on-site support when required.
- Maintain confidentiality and strictly follow VVIP protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in prestigious residential or commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using engineering software and tools for design and analysis.
- Exceptional communication and coordination skills to work with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Experience in managing projects and leading teams is preferred.
