Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance to join our team in Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our executive leadership, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, driving strategic financial planning, and ensuring the company's fiscal health and compliance.

  • Oversee daily operations of the Finance department, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
  • Develop and implement short-term and long-term financial strategies aligned with company goals
  • Direct and coordinate financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
  • Analyze monthly operating results against budgets and provide insightful recommendations
  • Lead cost efficiency initiatives and optimize financial performance
  • Manage relationships with external financial partners, including banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations, with particular attention to UAE standards
  • Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to the executive team and board of directors
  • Oversee cash flow management and investment strategies
  • Direct financial audits and implement process improvements
  • Develop and maintain a high-performing finance team through effective leadership, mentoring, and professional development
  • Collaborate with other department heads to drive business growth and profitability
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or Master's degree preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification highly desirable
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, with at least 3 years in a similar director-level capacity
  • Proven track record of strategic financial planning and execution
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards, including familiarity with UAE financial landscape
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Outstanding leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information to diverse audiences
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly advanced Excel skills, and experience with financial management software
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated business acumen and understanding of key performance indicators
  • Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
  • Visionary mindset with the ability to drive innovation in financial processes and systems
