  • Automate build, test, release, and deployment workflows using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, AWS CodePipeline.

  • Implement safe deployment strategies including blue/green, canary releases, and automated rollback.

  • Handle code and database deployments across all environments, including production.

  • Manage release, configuration, and environment orchestration across development, staging, and production.

Infrastructure as Code & Configuration Management

  • Provision and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.

  • Design and implement automated configuration management using Ansible or similar tools.

  • Ensure consistency, repeatability, and scalability of infrastructure deployments.

Containers & Microservices

  • Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Support microservices and distributed systems in elastic and clustered environments.

  • Apply container security best practices including image scanning, RBAC, and secrets management.

Monitoring, Reliability & Incident Management

  • Monitor infrastructure and applications using AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, ELK Stack, Prometheus, and Grafana.

  • Establish observability standards for logs, metrics, and alerts.

  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for production incidents and implement preventive and corrective actions.

  • Drive improvements in system reliability, performance, and operational excellence.

Capacity Planning, Security & Optimization

  • Perform capacity planning and automate infrastructure scaling.

  • Implement security best practices across CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and runtime environments.

  • Optimize cloud costs through right-sizing, automation, and usage analysis.

Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Developers, QA, Security, and Operations teams to align DevOps practices.
