Position Overview

Eram Talent is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Coral Husbandry Technician to join our team in Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for the care, maintenance, and propagation of coral species within a controlled aquarium or marine environment. Your work will be crucial in supporting conservation efforts and advancing our understanding of coral ecosystems. Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain optimal water quality and environmental conditions for coral growth and health.
  • Conduct regular health assessments of corals, identifying signs of stress, disease, or invasive species.
  • Previous experience and knowledge in coral asexual reproduction and co-culture is beneficia Coral feeding in alignment with Standard Operating procedures.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning tanks and managing filtration systems.
  • Assist in coral propagation techniques, including fragmentation and transplantation.
  • Collect and record data on coral growth rates, health indicators, and environmental parameters.
  • Collaborate with marine biologists and conservation teams on research and restoration projects.
  • Participate in outreach and educational programs to raise awareness about coral conservation.
Qualifications
  • A degree in Marine Biology, Aquaculture, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in coral care or marine aquarium management is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of marine ecosystems, particularly coral reef ecology and biology.
