About Your Team

You will be part of the Joinery Factory team based in Al Hamra, Ras Al Khaimah, reporting to the Technical/Production department. You’ll work closely with production managers, site engineers, and supervisors to ensure that joinery components are drawn and detailed accurately, manufactured efficiently, and meet the highest standards of quality.

Your Role

As a CAD+T Draftsman – Joinery Manufacturing Unit, you will be responsible for preparing highly detailed and production-ready joinery drawings using CAD+T software. Your responsibilities will include:

• Design & Drafting
• Use CAD+T to create detailed joinery drawings based on project requirements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to technical codes and standards.
• Production Preparation
• Once drawings are approved, generate and release cutlists for production, ensuring the information is clear and error-free.
• CNC Integration
• Transfer finalized drawings and cutlists directly to CNC systems for machining, ensuring seamless production processes.
• Collaboration & Coordination
• Liaise with supervisors, site engineers, and project managers to ensure accurate interpretation of client requirements and on-site needs.
• Joinery Detailing
• Provide in-depth knowledge and technical detailing of joinery components, accessories, and hardware.
• Quality Control
• Ensure that all designs meet quality standards and comply with relevant joinery technical codes, specifications, and regulations.
• Problem Solving
• Address any technical or design challenges that arise during the drafting or production phases.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a CAD+T Draftsman within a joinery or furniture manufacturing environment
• Solid knowledge of joinery detailing, including materials, accessories, and hardware
• Hands-on experience with CAD+T software (must be proficient in creating drawings/models and cutlists)
• Strong understanding of joinery technical codes and relevant industry standards
• Experience in transferring designs to CNC systems and collaborating with production teams for seamless manufacturing
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with supervisors, engineers, and other stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• A background in joinery or furniture factory operations with practical knowledge of tools and machinery is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical certification in Joinery, Furniture Manufacturing, CAD Design, or related fields
• Familiarity with CNC machining processes and integration with design software
• Experience with other design or manufacturing software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)
