Business Development Manager (Oil & Gas EPC )

Job Purpose:

Setting the strategy for the regional sales positioning but also directing and leading sales activities forming strong relationships with clients and dealing professionally with clients partners and other divisions of the company all levels.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for meeting sales targets and positioning the company for sustainable sales at acceptable margins and risk. This will involve entering new geographic markets and product lines as well as increasing our market share in existing markets.

Ensuring sales strategy and execution approach are incorporated with quality and technical integrity into pre-qualifications presentations and marketing documents.

Oversee the sales forecasts and marketing intelligence for the assigned geographic region and coordinate as required with other divisions.

Manage the sales staff and direct and co-ordinate participation in all activities carried. This includes but is not limited to the preparation of the pre-qualifications presentations marketing support but also interfacing with clients partners and other divisions of the Company at all levels.

Lead and manage Proposals co-ordination for specific prospects when necessary. This involves working closely with proposals staff including the Manager of Proposals or Project Manager.

Supervise market research as carried out by sales executives to develop country and prospect specific market intelligence.

Input and check Tender Information Sheets (TIS) and ensuring compliance with sales and proposals process from prospect identification decision to bid proposal preparation submission negotiations and award.

Conduct regular visits to potential clients and countries.

Keep abreast with all potential future projects including frequent checking of market for opportunities.

Requirements:

Ideal candidate will have 25 years of experience in both onshore/offshore Oil & gas EPC projects and who has worked on reputed client projects like ADNOC Aramco and other GCC country projects.

Minimum bachelors degree and relevant project management qualification.

Proven track record of successful EPC projects for Oil & gas industry.
