Overview

Description

Role : Associate Analyst ( UAE National )
Location : Dubai
Role Purpose:
Role holder is required to support ARMs and RMs in day to day work such as preparation of account opening documents credit approval packages attend meetings & prepare meeting minutes support the assigned Corporate Banking team.

Key Accountabilities

Relationship Management Business Proposition and Credit analysis related responsibilities

  • Support Frontline staff to achieve financial targets assigned in line with portfolio handled (e.g. total revenues revenue from treasury products revenue from cash management RORC etc.) The role holder will not have a financial target
  • Work closely with customer service unit to ensure that clients day to day transaction needs are addressed to the customerssatisfaction
  • Support RMs and ARMs in the review and preparation of credit approval packages AC memos Credit Round Table CRT discussion materials etc. and ensure the same are completed as per the banks requirements
  • May attend client calls/meetings in conjunction with the RM/Division Head in relation to the clients banking requirements
  • Support preparation of spreadsheets and perform financial analysis incl. basic financial modeling if applicable and qualitative analysis to support analysis of potential and existing credit applications
  • Carry out initial market checking and monitor credit worthiness of obligors/counterparties including search for negative press articles rating agencies.
  • May be asked to liaise with Risk in relation to the credit approval packages such as responding to queries and comments from Risk Management etc.
  • Prepare necessary security and other documents in liaison with Legal & Sharia departments
  • Liaise with CAD as and when required during preparation of CA packages and ensure all deferred documentations are tracked and obtained on time as well as updating all the banking standards such as compliance clearance documentation checklist call reports etc. in a timely manner
  • Liaise with WFO for disbursal of other funding related matters.
  • Support Frontline staff to track review dates and ensure all facilities are renewed/deferred on a timely basic
  • Ensure complete adherence to all KPIs (Turnaround time (TAT) Credit package quality Review dates etc.)
  • Supporting the Relationship Management Team in the overall customer transactions & queries
  • Liaising with the internal partners to ensure the completion of transactions and queries.
  • Where required support and collaborate with GTB Product Specialist to capture the external and internal insights related to GTB offerings & deliverables to have in depth analysis to these insights and come up with proposed actions to the related teams.
  • Help identifying the service requirements in coordination with all the related stakeholders
  • To manage effectively & efficiently the complex part of Trade & Funding transactions.
  • Work closely with WBG departments in managing corporate clients service-related activities.
  • Support to Shared Services team in achieving the overall objective ofcontributing high customer satisfaction improving and managing customer relationships in accordance to the strategy and goals of Wholesale Banking and ADIB as a whole
  • Work in the Trade Ops as well as other operations functions

Control & Governance

  • Ensure that activities are in full compliance of group policies and processes including Sharia requirements Central Bank regulations and other internal Legal and Compliance regulations at all times.
