About Wynn Al Marjan Island

On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in early 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offers 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five-star spa. It is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.

About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking an Assistant Manager Learning & Development to join the resort’s Learning & Development team.

The Primary Duties And Responsibilities Of This Role Include:

  1. Assist in designing and implementing compensation structures, incentive plans, and benefits programs.
  2. Oversee the full onboarding journey, including orientation and probation, ensuring departmental onboarding programs are in place and aligned with company standards.
  3. Support the Director in designing, developing, and implementing learning initiatives across departments.
  4. Apply project management skills to coordinate multiple training programs with competing deadlines.
  5. Co-manage the Learning Management System (LMS), including course creation, audience management, and multimedia content development.
  6. Track and coordinate attendance for mandatory training sessions and property-wide learning events.
  7. Collaborate with Wynn Resorts training partners to share best practices and leverage shared resources.
  8. Mentor junior L&D team members and support their professional development.
  9. Conduct regular reviews of training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  10. Maintain project timelines, manage resources, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  11. Report to the L&D Manager and perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience in training/facilitation and hotel or casino operations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  3. Experience in frontline hospitality operations with a strong understanding of luxury service standards.
  4. Proven ability to design and deliver engaging training through instructor-led sessions, on-the-job learning, and digital platforms.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage all levels of the organization.
  6. Strong organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with design software is a plus.
  8. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and eLearning development tools preferred.
