Job description

Job Responsibilities:

Manage Accounts Payable (AP):

  • Process supplier invoices, verify supporting documents, and ensure timely payments.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and respond to queries professionally

Manage Accounts Receivable (AR):

  • Prepare and send customer invoices, follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Monitor credit limits and payment terms
  • Reconcile customer accounts and manage collections efficiently.

Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.

  • Document financial transactions accurately and promptly.
  • Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.

Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements.

Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents and records.

Maintain internal accounting controls and suggest improvements where necessary.

Guide and coordinate with accounting staff when required.

Reconcile discrepancies and ensure financial accuracy.

Secure financial information with regular database backups.

Ensure compliance with internal processes and external regulations

Handle payments, disbursements, and bank reconciliations.

Respond to accounting queries by interpreting financial policies.

Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards.

Participate in continuous professional development.

Minimum: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce or Accounting.
