Job summary

A leading bank in the UAE is looking for a Specialist in AML Transaction Monitoring Quality Checks. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of banking experience, with a focus on compliance and audit. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the AML team by ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, monitoring performance, and assisting business stakeholders with risk analysis. Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years of banking experience, preferably 3-4 years in Compliance and/or Audit in Banks.
• Excellent understanding of regional laws and international regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support the AML transaction monitoring team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Perform independent reviews on closed alerts for quality checks.
• Assist business stakeholders in identifying and analyzing risks.
• Monitor the performance of the AML Transaction Monitoring Team.
