Job summary

A logistics and operations company is seeking a Warehouse Manager in Sandton, South Africa, offering a salary of R15,000 to R20,000 per month plus benefits.   • Manage stock control and inventory function including stocktake preparation.
  • Prevent and manage shrinkage and damages.
  • Enforce safety and housekeeping program on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct investigations and disciplinary hearings and attend CCMA cases
  • Must be willing to work overtime when needed
  • Manage the team regarding productivity and time management
  • Prevent and manage shrinkage and damages
  • logistics in warehousing and manage expenses in the department e.g overtime
  • Manage the implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Managing the food Safety Audit Program
  • Utilise the prescribed systems (Great plaints) to draw reports
  • Manage the budget for the section
  • Manage staff and welfare of members
  • Manage the branch warehouse function
  • Manage stock control and inventory function including stocktake preparation
  • Enforce safety and housekeeping programme on an ongoing basis
  • Leverage Great Plains reporting in order to control branch logistical functions
  • Manage the statistics of picking for picker statistics and ensure productivity
