Overview

Leaders in Building Insurance

Responsibilities
  • Analyse claims, premium, and policy data to identify trends, anomalies, andopportunities.
  • Create dashboards, reports, and visualisations to support underwriting andmanagement decisions.Build and maintain data pipelines to ensure accuracy and consistency of keydatasets.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining pricing models for insurance products. Work with management to monitor book performance and identify risk areas.
  • Provide analytical support for new business initiatives and product reviews.
  • Develop scripts and tools (e.g., in Python, SQL, Json) to streamline data processing. Support system enhancements by testing, validating, and implementingimprovements. Help maintain and enhance internal analytics and reporting infrastructure.
  • Work closely with underwriters, management, and IT teams to deliver datasolutions. Present findings and recommendations to management in a clear, actionable way.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree with excellent marks in a quantitative field.
  • (Data Science,Statistics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Accounting, Engineering).
Skills
  • Strong programming skills (Python) and SQL for data extraction.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic VBA).
  • 2 years experience in data analysis, actuarial, or business intelligence role.
  • Exposure to data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI).
Additional Experience
  • Experience with geospatial data processing would be an advantage.
  • Ability to work with large datasets, clean and prepare data, and generate actionableinsights.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn.
