Job Description:We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Stock Controller Assistant to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the stock control of parts and forklifts, ensuring accurate tracking and movement between suppliers, dealerships, and customers. This role requires a strong understanding of inventory management, technical systems, and excellent organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stock Management: Oversee the flow of incoming and outgoing parts and forklifts, ensuring accurate documentation and tracking between suppliers, dealerships, and customers.
  • Technical Knowledge: Utilize knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to support stock management activities. Read, understand, and apply information from technical manuals, prints, and schematics to ensure proper handling and storage.
  • Inventory Control: Manage inventory using both manual and computer-based systems, updating spreadsheets and online directories to maintain accurate records.
  • General Administration: Perform general administrative duties as needed, including updating records and managing stock data.
  • Stock Handling: Manage all company stock in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring proper storage and organization.
  • Workshop Maintenance: Maintain shop supplies, tools, and equipment, ensuring that the work environment is clean and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Sales Support: Assist with company sales and promotions as needed, contributing to the overall success in the forklift industry.
  • Cross-functional Assistance: Provide support on all reasonable requests to maintain competitive edge.
