A healthcare organization is seeking a Specialty Doctor to join their General Adult Community Psychiatry team. The role offers an opportunity for a motivated doctor to provide medical assessments and treatment for mental health disorders. With a focus on teamwork and the use of digital technology, candidates will work closely with a Consultant Psychiatrist. The position is based in a modern service with pathways for professional development and engagement with a supportive peer group, all in scenic Nairn, Badenoch, and Strathspey.

We seek to appoint a clinician, with an enthusiasm for General Adult Community Psychiatry to join our team of Psychiatrists in NHS Highland.
This post offers the opportunity for a motivated doctor who enjoys teamwork to be part of a modern service for General Adult psychiatry to a population spread across Nairn, Badenoch and Strathspey (NABS). The post is an integral part of the NABS Community Mental Health team and is well supported by the wider CMHT, Primary care, Third Sector care providers. The post holder will be supervised by and work alongside a Consultant Psychiatrist with the aim of providing medical assessment, care and treatment to those with moderate to severe mental disorder.
Eligibility for s22. AMP status would be an advantage.
The use of digital technology may open up further opportunity and flexibility to the post holder. The post could be based at New Craigs Hospital, Inverness or NABS CMHT but time will be spent in both places.
There is an enthusiastic peer group of Specialty Doctors in the service which meets regularly; CPD and development of special interests is valued and encouraged.
