Job description

Responsible for creating technical Solution architecture that describes how IT components are combined to meet a particular set of business requirements and capabilities. It is a multi-disciplinary role guiding business and IT teams to meet project objectives. The Solutions Architect is required to design and execute strategy and Enterprise Architecture Road mapping, incorporating IT innovations in the design approach, with a long-term view. The main deliverable of the Solutions Architect is to ensure selection and deployment of future proofed; cost effective; flexible and sustainable IT solutions that support business needs.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Support the Enterprise Architecture Director by enforcing adherence to IT standards, policies and governance framework
• Executing the long-term IT strategy and Enterprise Architecture roadmap
• Support Business partner; Portfolio Management; Project Delivery; Service Delivery and Security Risk Governance teams to deliver projects on time; on budget and to specifications
• Provide consultancy
• Conduct feasibility assessments where requiredSupport development of solution delivery
• Design solutions to meet project objectives and business requirements
• Review solutions after the development and testing phases and rectify document designs
