Location: Newcastle

Pay Rate: 31.74

Job Description: Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting a Childrens Social Worker to join an Assessment Team based in this role you will lead assessments manage complex cases and support colleagues in fulfilling statutory duties. Responsibilities:

  • Deliver statutory social work services to children young people and their families in line with current legislation and Gateshead Council procedures.
  • Undertake and lead Children & Families assessments ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members on complex cases.
  • Chair meetings and contribute to multi-agency planning.
  • Prepare reports care plans and court evidence as required.
  • Work collaboratively with families carers and partner agencies to develop effective support plans.
  • Maintain accurate and timely case records and reports in line with professional standards.
  • Participate in regular supervision and reflective practice with your line manager.
