An experiential lighting company providing end-to-end lighting solutions: from lighting design and product sourcing to technical execution, installation, and site support, is seeking a highly organized, deadline-driven Senior Project Manager to oversee multiple lighting and construction related projects simultaneously. You will manage costs, timelines, client relationships, suppliers, stock ordering, and a small in-house team. This role demands strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and experience in delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage up to approximately 15 projects at a time, ensuring all projects meet deadlines, quality standards, budget, and scope.
  • Produce accurate project costings and budgets; monitor and control costs throughout each project lifecycle.
  • Liaise with clients regularly: gather requirements, provide updates, secure approvals and sign-offs, handle leasing or contractual client agreements where applicable.
  • Coordinate procurement and ordering of stock, materials, and architectural/lighting fittings; manage suppliers; ensure timely delivery.
  • Oversee on-site execution / construction as required; coordinate between design studio, installation teams, and site assistance.
  • Manage small team of direct reports ( 3 people ); set priorities, monitor performance, provide guidance.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through excellent communication and attention to detail; ensure final deliverables are aligned with client expectations.
  • Prepare reports (status, financial, risk) for senior management, including forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Enforce standards, processes and best practices for project management, documentation, hand‑offs, and sign‑off processes.

Requirements:

  • At least 5‑8 years (or equivalent) experience in project management, preferably in construction, lighting, interior fit‑out, or related field.
  • Proven track record managing multiple projects simultaneously (10‑15 projects) with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent client facing and communication skills; ability to negotiate, manage expectations, and secure approvals/sign‑offs.
  • Experience with procurement, ordering stock, supplier management.
  • Leadership experience: managing, mentoring, directing staff; ability to delegate and motivate a small team.
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, deadline oriented. Able to identify risks early and take corrective action.
  • Ability to work in fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in project management tools/software, scheduling, and reporting.
