About the Role

The Senior Physical Asset Manager is accountable for the full lifecycle of engineering assets—ensuring every system, plant, and facility operates efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively. You’ll oversee asset registers, maintenance strategies, and performance data, driving continuous improvement in uptime, cost control, and lifecycle value across the region.

This role blends technical rigour with leadership influence: aligning asset care strategy to business needs, embedding strong governance, and shaping engineering practices that extend asset life while reducing risk and cost.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and optimise regional asset registers and maintenance strategies.
  • Oversee lifecycle planning—condition records, scopes of work, and lifecycle improvements.
  • Consolidate and analyse planned/unplanned maintenance; drive RCA and mitigation.
  • Feed lifecycle insights into capital investment and efficiency plans.
  • Supervise coordination and communication of critical maintenance activities.
  • Maintain high-integrity SAP master data for asset structures and performance tracking.
  • Support continuous improvement across reliability, safety, and compliance performance.
Qualifications
  • BEng/BSc/BTech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • GCC—required.
  • Registration or eligibility as PrEng / PrTech advantageous.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in maintenance engineering; 5+ years in facilities management.
  • Proficiency in SAP, MS Office, and data-driven asset management tools.
  • Strong analytical, supervisory, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Deep understanding of maintenance tactics, OHS Act, and asset lifecycle planning.
