Job Overview

Assisting the department to implement, improve and maintain policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare the organization for the external audit, including all documents, reports and analyses required by the external auditors, including all IFRS calculations and statements/reports.
  • Provide strong strategic leadership to the finance team.
  • Maintain a comprehensive filing system or record keeping for ease of access and retrieval.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and internal policy systems and procedures.
  • Manage lender and donor reporting and governance in accordance with covenants and agreements.
  • Handle loan capital and grant management.
  • Conduct annual budgeting and forecasting.
  • Manage day‑to‑day transactional relationships with all banks and optimize use of bank accounts.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Post‑Graduate Degree in Finance / Accounting.
  • CA (SA) qualification is advantageous.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in accounting.
  • Minimum three years in a management position.
  • Advanced Excel skills (non‑negotiable).
