A technology solutions provider is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects in Midrand, South Africa. This role involves managing project lifecycles, mentoring junior PMs, and ensuring alignment between technical execution and business objectives. The Senior Project Manager is a seasoned professional responsible for leading ITS’s most complex, strategic, or high‑risk projects. With a proven track record of managing multi‑phase or multi‑location engagements, the Senior PM is trusted with clients and initiatives where clear communication, deep technical understanding, and high judgment are critical to success.
In addition to managing project delivery, the Senior PM supports department improvement by mentoring junior PMs, contributing to best practice documentation, and participating in cross‑departmental strategy.
Own the full lifecycle of high‑value or technically complex projects — from scoping and kickoff through deployment and closeout.
Lead project teams across departments, managing communication, execution, and stakeholder alignment.
Serve as the escalation point for client‑facing challenges and scope management during delivery.
Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and internal sponsors to align technical execution with business outcomes.
Represent the Project department in client‑facing meetings, strategy calls, and executive updates as needed.
Anticipate client needs and proactively identify project opportunities or risks.
Mentor and support less experienced PMs through shadowing, knowledge sharing, and peer reviews.
Help maintain and improve project documentation standards, templates, and tool usage (e.g., PPM tools, ConnectWise, ITGlue).
Participate in quarterly process reviews or department‑led improvement initiatives.
Senior PM leads projects that are critical to business success and client satisfaction.
Project delivered with in scope, budget and timeframe.
Scope change is managed effectively through out the life cycle of the project
Escalations are limited or none at all.
Adherence to company standard project methodology
Prior experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment is essential.
10+ years of experience in project management roles, with direct oversight of technical or IT infrastructure projects.
Must have hands‑on experience with projects including domain migrations, cybersecurity deployments, wireless and network setups, infrastructure rollouts, new client onboarding, and complex client offboarding initiatives.
Proven success leading multi‑phase or cross‑departmental engagements with budget, scope, and timeline responsibility.
Strong communication, negotiation, and client‑facing skills — especially under pressure or in ambiguous situations.
Fluency with project management tools, Microsoft 365, and documentation tools.
Ability to coordinate across departments and align project execution with client goals.
PMP + or equivalent, ITIL, or Agile / Scrum certifications
Familiarity with service delivery KPIs and resource planning in a project‑based services company.
Computer: A working computer with a minimum of 8GB RAM and one of the following :
Windows 11 with an Intel i5 or i7 (8th generation or newer), or
AMD Ryzen 5 or 7 (2000 series or newer), or
macOS 12 or newer.
Internet: Stable internet connection with at least 5 Mbps download and upload speeds.
Audio Equipment: A quality headset with a noise‑cancellation feature for meetings.
Mobile Device: A smartphone capable of installing the Microsoft Authenticator app.
Webcam: An HD webcam for video calls.

Excellent command of the English language both spoken and written
Able to work full time 40 hours a week : 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM PST (Monday to Friday)
Able to pass our online behavior and cognitive assessments.
Able to provide NBI Clearance (for PH applicants).
Pay rate starts at $20 / hour and vary by experience and location.
