Job summary

A leading manufacturing firm in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to maintain and repair trucks and equipment. The successful candidate will have at least 8 years of specialization in truck fleet maintenance and a Red Seal Trade Test certificate. Responsibilities include attending breakdowns and working in a fast-paced environment. Benefits include a provident fund, life cover, and paid leave. This is a permanent position with standard working hours from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience as a Qualified Diesel Technician specializing in truck fleet maintenance.
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
• Knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.

• Attend to breakdowns, inspect, repair and maintain fleet and equipment.
• Work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
