Job Purpose

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving profitable growth within an assigned territory, with the potential to expand into surrounding markets. The role focuses on achieving annual sales and profitability targets while strengthening brand presence and building strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.

The Sales Manager will act as a brand ambassador in the markets served, ensuring compliance with local regulations and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

1. Distributor & Partner Management

Oversee and manage the distribution network in assigned markets.

Support distribution partners to grow their business through account planning and regular engagement.

Provide information and guidance on products, pricing, supply chain, payment terms, and after-sales services.

Monitor distributor performance, including sales by product line, margins, and growth opportunities.

Identify and onboard new distribution partners where appropriate.

Deliver training to distributor teams on products and processes.

Organize joint meetings with stakeholders such as architects, builders, investors, and consultants.

Plan and execute promotional activities, events, and trade shows with distributors.

Conduct inspections of distributor warehouses to review inventory, product quality, storage standards, and processes.

2. Business Development & Market Expansion

Build and maintain relationships with architects, designers, developers, and builders.

Maintain a database of key contacts and establish regular engagement.

Promote products and brand values in the assigned markets.

3. Project Sales & Specifications

Build and maintain a pipeline of current and future projects.

Engage key decision-makers to secure product specifications.

Work closely with stakeholders to protect product specifications from concept to delivery.

4. Investor Relations

Establish and maintain a database of key investors in the markets served.

Provide investors with relevant updates and maintain engagement.

5. Sales Growth & Profitability

Maintain and expand the presence of products in showrooms and markets.

Provide quotations and sales support to partners for project opportunities.

Follow up on quotations to maximize conversion rates.

Manage the order process from inquiry to delivery.

6. Market Intelligence

Provide detailed competitor analysis, including products, pricing, promotions, and distribution.

Gather feedback from customers, end-users, and stakeholders on products and services.

Track industry trends and developments relevant to the market.

7. Team Collaboration & Participation

Contribute to financial and strategic planning workshops.

Participate in trade shows, events, and meetings.

Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Interior Design, or related field (Masters preferred).

Minimum of 7 years of sales experience in relevant markets, including distributor management and engagement with specifiers and investors.

Strong understanding of regional markets and business development.

Based in the assigned territory with willingness to travel within the region.

Fluent in English; additional languages an advantage.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Valid drivers license and own transportation preferred.
