Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in South Africa is seeking a specialist to provide technical leadership in remuneration and HR Information Systems. You will conduct salary studies, lead HRIS projects, and maintain system integrity. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Behavioral Science or equivalent, five years of IT systems experience, and strong project management skills. This role includes providing user training and support for HR systems, ensuring efficient operations in alignment with business needs.

Qualifications

  • Five years IT systems experience with at least 2 years in HR systems.
  • Three years of experience in compensation-related roles.
  • SARA Certification and Job Evaluation Certification are advantages.

Purpose of the job

Responsible for providing specialist technical leadership in remuneration and HR Information systems.

In addition, takes the lead for planning, project coordination, management and support in developing a cost-effective human resources information system (HRIS) and remuneration practices while concurrently facilitating efficient operations to meet current and future business needs within the HR organization.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Compensation and Benefit Management To conduct a salary study and market analysis to obtain better insight into common market

Develop salary ranges and coordinate approval process through the leadership of Head of Talent & Culture.

Champion the job evaluation process and maintenance of job profile data, for purposes of internal parity and equitable pay.

Champion the research, development and implementation of Integrated Total Reward Provide Training & Leadership on HR systems Training and support to the business community in respect of navigation of the SAGE people system to access information on organisational structures and statistical reports as well as updating personnel biographical details.

Provides user and technical support on all HR systems (Learner Management System, Performance Management, Talent, i Recruit, Job Management etc).

Provision of appropriate identified User Training (business-wide) to enable effective use of the systems and an understanding of security applications.

Maintenance of HR Systems Establishing control in terms of creating, maintaining and re-structuring positions daily or as

Updating SAGE People modules when restructuring or reorganising of positions or departments takes place, to correctly reflect the new structures.

Update and maintain information on Performance and Talent Management Troubleshooting, and Validation of data on HR People Modules Validating & maintaining the HR system to ensure the integrity of data and accuracy in the provision of management information.

Identify any concerns or weakness in operational systems and procedures and recommending appropriate remedies where applicable.

Conduct user needs analysis; liaise with development team and stakeholders; and test and implement systems.

Consulting and Project Management Manages projects for the HRIS and Remuneration

Provides a high level of consulting to the Users of the system on a range of E.g. proposing specifications for software development solutions to staff.

Problem REQUIRED MINIMUM AND ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE Bachelor / Degree (NQF 7) in Behavioural Science / BCom or equivalent

Five years IT systems experience of which at least 2 years should be HR systems related & 3 years in Compensation.

Two years of experience managing HRIS

Two years' experience within the compensation, benefits and job evaluation will be an added advantage.

SARA Certification and Job Evaluation Certification an added advantage.
