Overview

We are seeking an experienced, qualified and passionate Dietician to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide nutritional assessment, counseling, and diet planning for both in-patient and out-patient clients across a range of clinical conditions.

Non EE Position

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans for in-patients and out-patients
• Conduct nutritional assessments and monitor patients' progress
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic diets and lifestyle changes
• Provide support for chronic disease management, recovery nutrition, weight control, and more
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with hospital/clinic policies

Education & Experience

• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Dietetics
• Registered Dietician with HPCSA
• Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience preferred
• Experience working in both hospital and outpatient settings is an advantage
• Strong communication, teamwork, and counseling skills

Requirements

• Must have own vehicle and valid license - Not negotiable
• Must reside in Pietermaritsburg or surrounds or willing to relocate
• Must be able to work 1 weekend on / 1 weekend off
