Job description

Dis-Chem Pharmacies’ in the Western Cape Region has an opportunity available for a Regional Customer Consultant to join the team. The main purpose of this role will be to oversee, escalating and reporting on all customer queries, complaints and compliments providing customers with the quickest assistance as possible.

Minimum Requirements
  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • Degree / Diploma in Administration, Customer Service or Public Relations
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in Administration or Public Relations
Job Specification
  • Oversee and supervise Customer Consultants within a specified region from an administrative perspective.
  • Manage daily and weekly inventory control for benefits programmes and all other promotional items for entire region.
  • Maintain filing and record-keeping relevant documents for customers.
  • Accurate processing of transactions, as well as capturing and reporting.
  • Completing benefit card investigations, merges and archives accurately.
  • Check that all stores within the region’s website details are correct and updated accordingly.
  • Ensure effective internal and/or external communication related to benefits programmes and customer service.
  • Respond to written or email queries on various platforms.
  • Ensure all relevant stakeholders are kept informed of all elements related to the Benefit Programme.
  • Manage and report compliments and complaints for the entire Region through the customer service diary.
  • Assist customers with any queries and refer customers to the appropriate departments where applicable.
  • Ensure that customer information is dealt with in a confidential manner.
  • Share all relevant benefit programme related information with customers at all times.
  • Sharing all changes and important information received with Customer Consultants and Backups.
  • Ensure that the regions’ Customer Consultants provide training to all departments and ensure the implementation of the training.
