Role Description

This full-time, on-site role is based in Kempton Park.

The Production Manager will oversee daily production operations to ensure the timely preparation and delivery of high-quality meals.

Core responsibilities include coordinating production schedules, managing a team of chefs and kitchen staff, monitoring food quality standards, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.

The Production Manager will also collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to streamline kitchen processes and ensure inventory levels are optimized for production needs.

Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills

Experience in overseeing food production processes and managing resources effectively

Understanding of health and safety regulations in the food industry

Ability to develop and implement efficient production schedules and workflow strategies

Effective communication and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in inventory management and cost control

Relevant work experience in catering or food production industry is highly desirable

Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field is a strong advantage

5–8+ years of experience in food production or airline catering, with at least 3 years in a management role.

Strong knowledge of large-scale production, menu planning, and portioning systems.

Understanding of HACCP, ISO guidelines, and airline catering standards.
