Job summary

A leading mining company in Limpopo, South Africa, is seeking a Transactional Buying Co-Ordinator to manage procurement processes. The successful candidate will oversee the procurement of goods and services efficiently while adhering to policies. A degree in Supply Chain/Procurement and 4-6 years of mining experience are essential, along with proficiency in SAP. This role offers the opportunity to develop and coach staff while ensuring compliance with contract processes and transforming suppliers as per mining standards.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years' experience in mining industry is essential.
• 2-4 years Procurement experience is essential.
• 2-3 years' experience on SAP/SAP ARIBA is essential.
• Valid medical certificate or be medically fit to obtain such a certificate.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate transactional buying procedure and mitigate identified risks.
• Manage transactional buying workflow.
• Review and approve all tenders and site visits.
• Develop and coach employees within the Transactional Buying Department.
• Compile and report weekly/monthly on KPIs.
