Procurement Logistics Controller – Sandton

We have a position available for a Procurement Logistics Controller in the Sandton area.

The Procurement Logistics Controller will be responsible for:
• Warehouse management: Track warehouse inventory and record the information on goods handed over by buyers promptly and accurately (recording should be completed on the same day). Monitor and verify the warehouse inventory report for timeliness and accuracy; ensure a weekly visit to the warehouse to check the storage condition of materials.
• Organize a quarterly inventory count of the Johannesburg warehouse and issue an inventory report at the end of each quarter.
• Insurance management: Ensure timely and accurate purchase of insurance, including draft and send accurate insurance schedule in time, ensure timely update of insurance policies. Follow-up on insurance settlements and claims, aiming for 80% settlement within 3 months.
• BV inspection: Check documentation received from buyers for errors, arrange BV inspection before loading of truck, address discrepancies, obtain CRF approval and maintain records.
• Tracking report: Monitor truck status in transit, report incidents, ensure daily road transport tracking, update shipment details on the application.
• Payment management: Verify accuracy of invoices and supporting documents, process payments within 30 days, register payment info in Tencent Ledger, share POP to related parties.
• Record keeping and reporting: Maintain records within designated timeframes, provide accurate feedback, data in PPT slides, update working documents in OneDrive, complete paper filing by the 10th of each month.
All documents and information must be accurate, comprehensive and timely.

Basic salary starting at R 25000.00 to R 35000.00 negotiable depending on experience and qualifications, Medical Aid, Provident fund contribution, cell phone allowance and lunch.
