Qualifications

• Minimum 14 years engineering experience.
• At least 8 years in a contracting/design house environment.
• Experience in energy, refining, petrochemical or chemical industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering work across feasibility, concept, basic and detail stages.
• Develop PFDs, P&IDs, mass and energy balances, UFDs and MFDs.
• Perform process simulations using ASPEN / PRO-II.

Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Advanced Aspen HYSYS / Aspen Plus modelling capability

Strong understanding of chemical engineering fundamentals

Knowledge of safety-related design (SIS, SIL, relief systems)

Expertise in distillation, heat exchange, separation and utilities

Knowledge of international engineering standards and best practices

Strong communication and client engagement skills

Experience leading cross-disciplinary engineering and project interfaces

Education

BSc Chemical Engineering

Professional Registration (Pr.Eng – ECSA)
