Pre-Auth Consultant - Talent Pool | Johannesburg

Are you a detail‑oriented healthcare professional with a passion for service excellence? We are building a Talent Pool of experienced Pre‑Authorisation Consultants for future roles within our organisation.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assess and authorise medical procedures and hospital admissions according to clinical protocols.
  • Liaise with healthcare providers, members, and internal departments.
  • Ensure compliance with medical scheme rules and health legislation.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve queries efficiently.
Desired Experience & Qualification
  • Registered Nurse (with valid SANC registration) or equivalent healthcare qualification.
  • 1–2 years’ experience in Managed Care Operations or Pre‑Authorisation.
  • Familiarity with medical scheme rules and healthcare regulations.
  • Strong communication and administrative skills.
  • Previous work in Medical Aid or Health Insurance sectors.
