A healthcare organization is seeking a Stock Controller to manage inventory control comprehensively, including auditing and issuing stock. The ideal candidate should have a Grade 12 education, a Basic Pharmacist Assistant Certificate, and 2-4 years of stock control experience, preferably in a hospital setting. Proficiency in a pharmaceutical stock control system and computer software like SAP is essential. The role includes maintaining optimal stock levels and adhering to lean management practices to reduce waste.
The Stock controller will accept full responsibility and accountability for the control of stock, including but not limited to, auditing, counting, reconciling, replenishing, ordering, issuing, and condemning. The incumbent is responsible for coordinating and facilitating the collective efforts between relevant departments in order to maximize proper stock control and limit mismanagement of stock.
