Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in KwaZulu-Natal, Durban is seeking a Pharmaceuticals Sales Representative. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting monthly sales targets through selling and maintaining positive customer relationships. Key qualifications include a Matric certificate, a Diploma/Certification in Sales, and 1-2 years of sales experience. Experience in the pharmaceutical environment and with sales systems like PDA Repwise is highly advantageous. This role offers an opportunity to engage with customers and drive sales in a dynamic environment.

About the job Pharmaceuticals Sales Representative

Purpose:

Responsible for own hand sales in order to meet monthly targets.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Selling scheduled products and services using solid arguments to prospective customers
  • Performing cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers
  • Engaging with customers on a commercial level on product support
  • Maintaining positive business relationships to ensure future sales
  • Present, promote and sell products/services using solid commercial arguments to existing and prospective customers
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Reach out to high potential unallocated customers
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Analyse the territory/markets potential, track sales and status reports
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
