Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Library Assistant to support the daily operations of campus and community libraries. This position is ideal for university students who are looking for flexible work opportunities that align with their academic schedule. As a Library Assistant, you will play a crucial role in organizing resources, helping students and patrons, and maintaining a quiet and productive library environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist library visitors in locating books, reference materials, and digital resources
  • Maintain orderly shelves and return items to their proper locations
  • Support the check-in/check-out process using library software
  • Monitor reading and study areas to ensure a peaceful environment
  • Help with cataloging new materials and maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Provide basic IT support for library computers, printers, and e-resources
  • Respond to inquiries in person, by phone, or via email professionally and promptly
  • Participate in library events, displays, or educational activities when required

  • Currently enrolled in a university or college program
