As a Marketer at Ampath, you are at the forefront of building meaningful relationships that drive our mission forward. Your role is to connect with both existing and potential supporters, ensuring they experience the full value of our services. Through regional execution of our national marketing strategy, you help turn satisfied clients into passionate advocates. To thrive in this role, you need a Diploma or Degree in any field, along with a valid South African Code 08 (EB) driver’s license. While not essential, a qualification in Marketing, Public Relations, Account Management, or Sales will give you a strong advantage. Previous work experience for at least 5 years within Ampath will also be an addition. We are looking for someone with at least two years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Account Management, ideally within a medical or healthcare environment. This experience equips you to navigate the unique dynamics of our industry and to build trust with clients from day one. We believe in empowering our people to lead with confidence and accountability, and your experience will be a key asset in doing just that.
Success in this role calls for a dynamic blend of skills. You need to be confident in upselling, identifying opportunities to introduce clients to additional services that add value. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential, enabling you to engage at all levels and guide conversations toward mutually beneficial outcomes. You should also be comfortable with numerical reasoning to assess performance trends and make informed decisions. Proficiency in computer systems is important, as it supports your ability to manage information and stay organised in a fast-paced environment.
