Responsibilities

• Designing, building, enhancing, and maintaining product platforms, design and creation of products to meet customer needs and requirements against strategic business objectives
• Providing deep technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to lead development projects
• Leading development teams, providing technical guidance, and making key architectural decisions
• Overseeing project timelines, ensuring quality standards, and managing development deliverables
• Designing, developing, and implementing complex software solutions
• Reviewing code for quality and efficiency, identifying areas for improvement
• Identifying and resolving complex technical issues
• Mentoring junior developers, designing complex software architectures, and ensuring high-quality code delivery while collaborating with cross-functional teams, requiring proficiency in programming languages, agile methodologies, and a strong understanding of software development lifecycle

Qualifications

• 4-year Engineering / Business Science (or related) Degree
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in product design and engineering, preferably in a Fintech or financial services environment
• Understanding of the Fintech ecosystem, players, business models and financial sector or banking industry related best practices
• Experience at the management level in the financial or software engineering sector
• Experience in development, prototyping, and initial production of products within the financial sector or banking industry
• Experience with DevOps and Agile practices
• Experience with Cloud Engineering
• Experience working in a medium to large organization
• Experience in presenting and providing technical guidance at Technical Review Boards
• Experience with backend programming languages and technologies (Java, Springboot, C#)
• Experience with CI / CD tools in a cloud environment, preferably Azure or AWS
• Database systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL)
