A leading automotive supplier is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in East London to manage maintenance issues related to electrical, automation, and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in electrical and mechanical work, including 5+ years in manufacturing and knowledge of PLC programming. This role involves supervising maintenance staff and ensuring compliance with safety standards, while participating in special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of hydraulic systems.
• Experience with crane and injection moulding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing on technical issues by troubleshooting and maintaining machines.
• Inspect equipment and determine required maintenance and upgrades.
• Supervise refurbishment and maintenance staff activities.
