Operations Manager
This is a strategic leadership position that oversees the planning and execution of manufacturing operations, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and cost targets.
Direct all aspects of production to meet schedules, product standards, and regulatory requirements.
Lead the Production Management team to provide operational oversight and staff development.
Ensure compliance with aseptic processing and sterile facility environmental controls.
Manage service providers and toll manufacturing contracts effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing & Operations Leadership Oversight of Maintenance Department and facilities to ensure operating standards are met.
Execution of preventative maintenance programs, equipment validation/calibration plans, and plant reliability systems.
Maintenance & Technical Systems Collaboration with QA/QC and SCM teams for raw material sourcing, supplier performance, inventory control, cold chain/storage requirements, and finished goods release.
Supply Chain & Materials Management Development and management of departmental operational budgets, including labour, consumables, maintenance, and utilities.
Product costing, cost reviews, waste reduction initiatives, and process efficiency improvement projects.
