The IT Manager will ensure the security and integrity of data, manage IT infrastructure, provide technical support, and enhance overall productivity through effective technology solutions.

- Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with overall company objectives
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of technology trends to ensure innovation
- Oversee the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability and security
- Implement and manage helpdesk systems for tracking IT issues
- Establish and enforce cybersecurity measures to guard against data breaches
- Lead IT projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule and within budget
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs for tailored solutions
- Develop and implement a business continuity plan (BCP) to ensure that IT systems can recover and sustain operations during a disruption or disaster
- Review and update IT strategy to align with business growth
- Maintain uptime on all IT systems and infrastructure, with regular reviews and updates to enhance performance and security
- Resolve technical support requests/queries within agreed timeframe
- Conduct biannual training sessions for staff on security awareness
- Deliver IT projects on time and within budget, with documented completion reports and stakeholder feedback
- Ensure business continuity plan is tested and updated
- Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs for team members
- Participate in recruitment of subordinates in consultation with Managing Director and HR Department
- Develop performance contracts for subordinates and conduct performance reviews to measure performance against agreed objectives and identify training needs
- Monitor quality of work delivered by subordinates
- Provide guidance, coaching, mentoring and advice to subordinates
- Address discipline and workplace conflict through initiation and coordination of processes, and where necessary, implement disciplinary procedures
- Manage time, work allocations, and leave of subordinates
- Monitor compliance with company policies, required codes of conduct, ethics, etc. (Signed performance contracts, individual development plans in place)
- Maintain a climate conducive to promoting and sustaining motivational levels, productivity, and performance
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Relevant certifications (Cisco, Microsoft, ITIL) – Advantageous
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 7-10 years in IT or a related field at management/supervisory level
- Preferable 1-3 years in IT management or supervisory experience
- 1-3 years telecoms and signage experience
