TreasuryONE seeks a Junior Accountant to support its dynamic finance team in Pretoria, Gauteng, reporting to the CFO. This entry-level role focuses on assisting with core accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records, and contributing to efficient operations in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the debtor cycle, including preparing invoices, statements, credit notes, and resolving basic queries.
• Support VAT reconciliations and revenue account maintenance in Xero.
• Help maintain daily cashbooks, perform reconciliations, and update the fixed asset register.
• Aid in preparing VAT returns, EMP201 submissions, and other statutory requirements.
• Contribute to month-end processes, budgeting support, and audit preparation.

Requirements

• BCom in Accounting Degree or relevant qualification.
• 3 years of accounting experience.
• Basic to intermediate Xero knowledge (Pastel a plus).
• Proficient Excel skills.
• Understanding of VAT, general ledger basics, and South African tax compliance.
