Step into a rewarding role as a Human Resources Manager with a respected FMCG manufacturing team in Cape Town! In this role, you will be instrumental in driving and implementing HR strategies aligned with business, operational, and quality objectives. You will support workforce planning, partner closely with managers on end-to-end people management, and ensure strong HR governance across the site. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include overseeing operational HR processes, managing recruitment and onboarding, ensuring legal and ethical compliance, guiding transformation initiatives, and leading performance management practices. Your expertise in HR, industrial relations, and organisational development will be essential in maintaining a positive workplace culture and enabling effective business decision-making. To succeed in this role, you should have a BComm, BA Industrial Psychology, or BTech Human Resource Management (or equivalent), along with 15 years of proven HR and large-scale IR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior HR or business partner role (preferably within FMCG or manufacturing). At least 3 years of payroll experience is required, along with ethical auditing knowledge (SEDEX/SMETA) and extensive applied understanding of BCEA, LRA, OHSA, SDA, COIDA, EEA, POPI, and related legislation. Strong analytical ability, excellent communication, and the capacity to lead change in a fast-paced environment will further support your success.
