Job summary

A leading HR services provider located in Cape Town is seeking an experienced HR Consultant to manage recruitment processes, administer employee benefits, and deliver HR projects. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of experience in HR administration, with a strong background in recruitment and selection, alongside relevant qualifications. Qualifications

  • 5 years experience in a similar position.
  • 2 years recruitment and selection experience in a FAIS compliance environment.
  • Computer literate.

Job description

Provide stakeholders with effective and efficient HR services according to the required standards and procedures in support of the business strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure and contribute to minimisation of general expenses
  • Adhere to internal quality assurance policies and processes
  • Write monthly reports on activities, trends, recommendations etc.
  • Deliver various HR and OD projects
  • HR administration and record keeping
  • Compile and update interview guides
  • Compile and update position profiles
  • Maintain and conduct the onboarding programme for new employees
  • Administer skills assessments as part of the recruitment process
  • Manage and conduct the entire Recruitment and Selection process including screening profiles, compiling shortlists, conducting interviews, preparing offer documentation etc. for assigned roles
  • Provide HR education on HR processes and practices to employees
  • Support and administer performance management processes
  • Administer psychometric assessment processes and give feedback to employees and line managers
  • Manage and administer employee benefit processes
  • Conduct exit interviews
  • Answer general HR queries
  • Participate in the development and implementation of various HR projects such as employee functions, Wellness Days, Values roll out etc.
Qualifications
  • Matric or equivalent
  • Computer Literate
  • Registration with the HPCSA as an Industrial Psychologist Relevant Degree
  • 5 years experience in a similar position
  • 2 years recruitment and selection experience in a FAIS compliance environment
