Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in South Africa, Gauteng, is looking for an HR and Payroll Clerk to efficiently manage payroll processes and the human resource function. The ideal candidate must have a payroll and HR qualification, strong interpersonal skills, and at least 5 years' experience, particularly with Sage VIP. Responsibilities include processing salaries, maintaining employee records, and handling HR compliance while ensuring confidentiality. This is a prominent role in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Process monthly salaries and bi-weekly wages on Sage VIP.
  • Maintain employee records, contracts, onboarding, and terminations.
  • Manage HR policies, disciplinary processes, and staff communication.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries.
  • Company Secretarial Work: CIPC submissions, annual returns, director changes, maintaining statutory records.
  • Support management with HR compliance and reporting.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold company standards.
