Opportunity for a Handyman with 2-4 years of experience to join our team in JHB - Eastern Suburbs

Handyman

Reporting to: HR Manager

Seniority Level: Mid Career (2-4 yrs exp)

Type: Permanent

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical repairs, including lights and laundry.
• Ensure mechanical equipment is in working order and fixed as necessary.
• Complete general building cleaning and maintenance.
• Install and replace floors, stairs and piping as needed.
• Repair and paint doors, windows, walls, ceilings, roofs and other parts of the building.
• Maintain and repair air conditioning and heating systems as required.
• Perform maintenance and light repairs.
• Repair equipment or appliances.
• Assist with electrical, plumbing or HVAC repairs.
• Identify and report the need for major repairs.
• Perform basic repairs e.g. wall damage, broken window.
• Complete general maintenance work.
• Paint surfaces and apply stain as needed.
• Take on other installation, repair, and maintenance duties as needed and legally permitted.
• Follow workplace health and safety rules.
