Job Purpose
The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visually compelling designs that communicate brand messages effectively across digital and print platforms. This role involves conceptualizing ideas, executing high-quality artwork, and collaborating with marketing, content, and product teams to ensure all creative outputs align with the brand’s identity and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Design & Production
- Develop visual concepts, graphics, and layouts for a wide range of media (digital, print, social, web, signage, packaging).
- Create marketing materials such as brochures, posters, banners, social media posts, adverts, infographics, presentations, and newsletters.
- Design brand identities, logos, and corporate stationery.
- Ensure consistent use of brand elements across all platforms.
Digital Content Creation
- Produce web graphics, UI elements, and digital advertising assets.
- Create animations, GIFs, or short motion graphics (if required).
- Optimize artwork for online use and various formats.
Collaboration & Project Management
- Work closely with marketing and content teams to meet campaign objectives.
- Interpret creative briefs and transform ideas into polished designs.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Present design concepts for review and adjust based on feedback.
Quality Control & File Management
- Prepare final artwork files for printing or digital publishing.
- Maintain an organized archive of design assets and project files.
- Ensure all output is high-quality, accurate, and aligned with brand guidelines.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design, or a related field.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design work.
Experience
- 1–3+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer (depending on seniority level).
- Experience working with brand guidelines and corporate CI.
- Agency or in-house design experience is an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, XD, Premiere / After Effects advantageous).
- Skilled in layout, typography, colour theory, and design principles.
- Experience with digital graphics, social media assets, and web design basics.
- Knowledge of print production processes and specifications.
- Familiarity with Canva, Figma, or other design tools (a plus).
